Health Stories

By

I use this daily and it has been great. But be warned, do not take this if you have any
open wounds because this thing is an anti-coagulant, which means your skin will have
a hard time healing itself ifyou take this daily. This products (reishi) also helps with acid
reflux disease. If you suffer from GERD, I strongly recommend black coffee with reishi.
Also, after 2 years of using this product, my Total Cholesterol dropped from 230+ to 209.
Without making any diet changes or exercising and my blood pressure had dropped to a
normal range. (Mostly due to this product helping me out with my anxiety). There is virtually
no negatives about taking this products (unless you have an open wound). I take to maintain
my overall health. It helped me with my blood pressure, my high cholesterol, and even my
anxiety. I use to be on xanax and that thing was bad. Became very dependent on it and
almost to the point where I was became a recluse.I was afraid to leave the house! With
some CBT and this miracle mushroom, I was able to cleanse my body from the side effect
of xanax and took the natural route.I no longer have anxiety and reishi played a role in it.

ASIA has know about this stuff for 4000 years. Japan even recognizes this as a
cancer treatment. REISHI stabilizes your nervous system, enhances your immune
system, increases blood flow and on and on.... I love this product. I was turned on
to REISHI by my CHINESE wife. All I have to say is, sometimes we can learn cool new
things from other cultures.

I have been taking Cordyceps for almost a year if not a little longer and have noticed
considerable benefits over time.I think in this product inline with a few other supplements
have boosted my immune system as I haven't had so muchas cold since 2009. I have a
very active lifestyle (Military, Crossfit, etc) and noticed my body recovers faster from the
physical abuse of my lifestyle.

First time trying these. They helped my breathing, but I have no basis for comparison. I would
recommend them to anyone struggling with inflammatory disease processes.

Seems to be working at lowering my blood pressure as it is supposed to after 45 days of use.
I hope that it worksto reduce blood sugar as well as actually heal the liver as these are all
reported benefits ofcordyceps. Energy levelseems improved as well as stamina which again
are reported benefits of cordyceps. Seems to be a good buy.

I have taken Noni for many years. I rarely get sick...not even colds and have not had flu
since 1996. There is something to this Noni that works for me very well. I like this particular
brand and delivery system, as Noni Juice tastes terrible and these Drs' Best Caps seem to
deliver the benefit pleasantly.

I was taking a multi-vitamin at the time and an anti-inflammatory medication. I started with
3000 mg of spirulina and the first day I took two 10 mg tablets of the vinpocetine (Source
Naturals,1 in the morning and 1 at lunch). I didn't go to sleep until after 3 a.m. that night,
attributing this to the vinpocetine. I decreased the vinpocetine to just one 10 mg tablet in
the morning after that and had no more difficulties going to sleep. The vinpocetine definitely
made me more focused and it seems to have helped my memory.I didn't expect such a quick
reaction to the vinpocetine. Sometime during the first week of taking the spirulina I noticed
that several bumps (calcium deposits) under my left eye had disappeared. I wasn't expecting
or looking for this result. The calcium deposits had been there for years and I reasoned that
it was the spirulina as I havenot changed my diet. After that I started to look for other results.
I had numerous skin tags around my neck whichare thinning out and getting smaller. I was
expecting to have them cut off at my next yearly check-up. I also had a bump on my leg
a little bigger than a pencil eraser, approximately 1/8" above the skin surface. It is just
above skin level now.
Feb.23, 2013: Since the initial review my wife has taken the spirulina. She was losing hair
when showering in the mornings. I ask her to take the spirulina since she was so impressed
with my results. Two to three days later she noticed a dramatic change in her hair loss. After
about a week she was losing very little hair at all. She just recently stopped taking it and the
hair loss.

I've read in various publications that Spirulina is a natural way to treat allergies. To my
surprise it actually works. The stuffiness in my nose has been reduced about 90% thanks
to these magic tablets. You have to take 3 in the morning and 3 in eve so it's expensive
(anyone else know of a cheaper, yet safe brand?) but overall worth it.
As for "energy levels increase", I didn't experience anything too noticeable.

Morinzhi (Noni)

THE SAVioR - DXN MORINZHI

Morinda Citrifolia comes with many names which are Great Morinda, Indian Mulberry, Tahitian Noni, Beach Mulberry, Noni or evenMengkudu known by Malaysians.

We have recently discovered that Noni stimulates two major hormones called serotonin and melatonin. The pineal gland controls the 5 major other glands below it which are:
  1. The thyroid which produces thyroxine to energize our cells
  2. The thymus (immune system control centre) which protects us against infections and cancer
  3. The pancreas which is invoved with blood sugar and secreting hormone insulin
  4. The adrenal gland which responds everytime you are under stress
  5. The first gland is the male and female sex organs and their hormones.
In ancient terms, the pineal gland was called the sixth gland of the body. Hence by restoring the sixth gland, the pineal gland, it will have an impact on all those other glands and their functions in the body. When the pineal gland is at its peak performance, it turns a golden colour and emits a black fluid. The black fluid would be the melanin colour of the organs and every other area of the body which has pigments.

The back of the eye has a black area called the macula which is pigmented with melanin. That is the area the light hits when your eyes open. Many people have difficulty with their eyesight (e.g. blindness, short-sighted and far-sighted and astigmatism) because one of the cause is that the pigment at the macula is degenerating. Research has been found that DXN Morinzhi makes the macula generate more pigment and the cells begin to return to normal and hence reverses the blindness itself.
Disease related to pineal gland leads tomultiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease. Appropriate function of the pineal gland is important in restoring those cells, and we are seeing patients reversing some of theirneurological problems because DXN Morinzhi is stimulating the production of chemical essential to those areas of the brain.

Nystagmus, is characterised
by involuntary eye
movements, is one of many
symptoms that can appear with MS

The pancreas is also affected by DXN Morinzhi: the blood sugar andblood pressure begin to normalize. The pineal gland affects the different organs all the way down to the first gland, the male and female sex organs, and people are noticing for example that their prostate glands are beginning to shrink down to normal size once they have been on DXN Morinzhi for a short period of time. Women who have problems with their uterus or with fibriods, are noticing that the fibroids are beginning to disappear, that their menstruation is beginning to normalize, they have less cramps and their bleeding problems become more in balance.

Ganocelium (GL)

THE HEALER - DXN GANOCELIUM

DXN Ganocelium and also as known as GL, derives from 18 days old Mycelium Ganoderma. The root of these baby mushrooms are then harvested and they are enriched with all the nutrients as below:
  • Polysaccharides
  • Organic Germanium
  • A whole spectrum of vitamins
  • A whole spectrum of minerals
The Content of Polysaccharide and Organic Germanium in Ganocelium is 4 times more than Ganoderma (RG).
 The life cycle of ganoderma

1) Polysaccharides
The first group of active nutraceuticals prominent in Ganoderma is the polysaccharide group. Polysaccharides are carbohydrates made up of many sugar molecules. They are usually big molecules and compose a major part of the plant's cell wall.

a) Anti-cancer activity
One of the more popular polysaccharides found in Ganoderma is Beta-D-glucan. This high molecular weight polysaccharide has been found to have a high anti-tumor activity. This means that glucan from the Ganoderma mycelium (Ganocelium) prevents the further growth of tumors and to some extent, reverses them.

A study was done where this extract was given to mice artificially inflicted with cancer cells. The scientist found that the growth of the tumor in the mice was suppressed by as high as 92%with 66% of them regressing or shrinking completely.

More than 50 anti-cancer nutraceuticals have been isolated in both the fruit body and themycelium of the mushroom including anti-oxidants that neutralize the toxins that cause cancer are abundant in the mushroom.

Following extensive research and observation, Dr. Raymond Chang of Cornell recommended the use of Ganoderma supplements in cancer management. He believes that Ganoderma supplementation is valuable in:

i) Reducing  the side effects during chemotherapy orradiotherapy.
ii) Prolonging survival and minimizing metastasis.
iii) Improving the quality of life.
iv) Preventing occurence or recurrence.

b) Immune system enhancement
Furthermore, scientists have also discovered that the low molecular weight polysaccharide in Ganoderma activates the receptors in the surfaces of white blood cells and cause both the awakening of the cells and the subsequent release of many anti-viral and anti-tumor chemicals.Interferon and lymnphokines are some of them.

Interferon is a protein that the cells employ to communicate with each other. Functioning like the cellular phone of the cells, it is used to send messages to other cells to alert them of coming viral attacks and help neutralize the attack of the virus.

When attacked by a virus, normal cells release interferon to warn the other uninfected cells about the attack. The more interferon produced, the better the cellular defense. With proper warning, the infection spread stops.

The polysaccharides in the mushroom have the ability to raise the levels of interferon in the body by stimulating the release of this protein from the white blood cells. This gives the person better immune resistance.

Dr. Fukumi Morishige, in his studies, also found that the polysaccharide in the ganoderma activates the macrophages and the T-killer cells of the immune system early on the in the battle. It makes them more aggresive in phagocytosis (the process of eating foreign matter) and neutralizing their toxins. These white blood cells help in the battle earlier and assist in limiting the speread of the disease more effectively.

Polysaccharides can also improve the ability of the antibodies to fight bacteria. According to a study published by the Drug Research Institute in Toyoma, Japan, the production of the antibodies, especially antibody Immunoglobulin G (IgG), is improved by the polysaccharide extract of Reishi.

Another polysaccharide, D6 has been seen to help the quick build up of the bone marrow, the site where many white blood cells called B-cells, which produces the antibodies, and macrophages are produced. This helps the replenishment of the warrior white blood cells when the war against germs gets rough.

c) Anti-oxidant effect

There are also reports that link polysaccharides to an increase in the levels of the anti-oxidantSuper Oxide Dismutase (SOD). SOD is one of the most potent anti-oxidants only produced by the body.

How free radicals damage our body
As an anti-oxidant, it acts by neutralizing the circulating free radical toxins. Free radical toxins are waste products produced by the chemicals ingested, the various infections, drugs and the stress. They attack the cells in the body and change their characteristics resulting in tissue malfunction or even destruction.

The entire process of free radical attack and change is called oxidation. Cholesterol cells, when oxidized by free radical toxins, turn into a sticky fat blob that clings on the walls of the artery. Cells that are oxidized can also turn bad and start producing cancer cells

There are chemicals, however, that neutralize free radicals and prevent them from oxidizing the cells in the body. These are called anti-oxidants. Vitamin A, C, E, Selenium, Lycopene, and Beta-Carotene are some examples of these. In the body, the SOD is the most powerful anti-oxidant ever produced.

Dr. Denham, in his Free Radical Theory of Aging believed that our bodies begin to age when the levels of SOD begin to drop and the free radical levels rise. This happens at age 25. The intake of ganoderma stimulates a higher production of SOD and slow down aging process.

2) Organic Germanium
Germanium  mineral that is present in many therapeutic herbs like garlic, aloe vera, chlorella, ginseng and watercress. The mineral also is abundant in Ganoderma where it was discovered to have the highest concentration of Organic Germanium of all.

 a) Improved Oxygenation of Cells
The mineral helps deliver oxygen to the cells. Since oxygen is indispensable to the life of the cell and an integral part of its metabolism, Organic Germanium helps improves tissue function and integrity, enhancing one's overall health.

b) Lowers High Blood Pressure
The clinical report of Japan Cancer Association correlated Organic Germanium with the lowering of blood pressure in animals with high blood pressure. Tests show that blood pressure of animals went back to normal in 7 to 10 days when given the mineral.

Dr. Akira Ishikawa even demonstrated the decrease in retinal or eye blood pressure in patients taking the mineral. This translates to better eye heath for the elderly. An extensive study reference about Organic Germanium can be found in this link:
http://www.germanium.net/intro04.php

c) Strengthening of Immune Function
Other studies show that Organic Germanium improves the immune function of the patients. It induces the production of interferon according to the Journal of Interferon Research published in 1984. It has an anti-tumor effect secondary to improved Macrophage activity according to the Japanese research paper: Gan To Kagaku Ryoho.

c) Pain Relief
The journal of Pharmacological Dynamics in a 1983 publication showed that organic germanium facilitates analgesia or pain relief in both oral administration and injection. It does so by releasing natural morphine-like chemicals called Endorphins in the body and activating the receptors that produce a morphine-like pain relief.

Food substances containing organic germanium according to Dr. Asai
Ganoderma      800-2000ppm
Garlic               754ppm
Ginseng            250-320ppm
Aloe Vera         77ppm
Chlorella          76ppm

Ganoderma has the advantage of having the highest concentration of Organic Germanium among the therapeutic herbs available today, let alone that Ganoderma Mycelium has 4 times more Organic Germanium compared to Ganoderma.

The summarized health benefits from GL:

  • GL is an oxygen supplier.
  • Enhance immune system.
  • It rejuvenates, heals and balance the bone marrow.
  • It is a brain tonic.
  • It is able to eliminate water solube toxins.
  • Regenerate cell/tissues/organs/systemic functions.
  • Reduces sugar level and revies pancreatic functions.
  • Normalize body functions.
  • Anti cancer activity.
  • Lowers blood cholestrol.

Spirulina

THE ESSENCE OF MOTHER NATURE - SPIRULINA

The healthy eating pyramid is a nutrition guide developed by the Harvard School of Public Health, suggesting quantities of each food category that a human should eat each day. The healthy eating pyramid is intended to provide a superior eating guide than the widespread food guide pyramid created by the USDA.

The new pyramid aims to include more recent research in dietary health not present in the USDA's 1992 guide. The original USDA pyramid has been criticized for not differentiating between refined grains and whole grains, between saturated fats and unsaturated fats, and for not placing enough emphasis on exercise and weight control. It also was developed by the Department of Agriculture, not the Department of Health and Human Services.

Healthy eating pyramid designed by Harvard University

A daily multivitamin, multimineral supplement offers a kind of nutritional backup, especially when it includes some extra vitamin D. While a multivitamin can’t in any way replace healthy eating, or make up for unhealthy eating, it can fill in the nutrient holes that may sometimes affect even the most careful eaters. You don’t need an expensive name-brand or designer vitamin. Spirulina is nature's multivitamin that meets the requirements of the USP (U.S. Pharmacopeia), an organization that sets standards for drugs and supplements. In addition to its bone-health benefits, there’s growing evidence that getting some extra vitamin D can help lower the risk of colon and breast cancer. Aim for getting at least 800 to 1,000 IU (international units) of vitamin D per day; Spirulina naturally are available with this amount.
Does spirulina contain antioxidants?
Yes.

Is it a probiotic food?
You bet!

Is it a neutraceutical?
That too!

Is it loaded with phytochemicals?
All kinds. It contains compounds like phycocyaninpolysaccharides, and sulfolipids that enhance the immune system . This superfood has the most remarkable concentration of functional nutrients ever known in any food, plant, grain or herb.

Superfood is used to describe food with high nutrient or phytochemical content that may confer health benefits, with few properties considered to be negative, such as being high in saturated fats or artificial ingredients, food additives or contaminants.

Spirulina is categorized as one of the superfood that contains an amazing source of complete protein, coming in at 43% more than beef. Spirulina's synthesis of sunlight converts concentrated amounts of protein more efficiently than any other living food.  Early research documented spirulina is safe consumption by traditional people. When scientists discovered that spirulina grew so fast, yielding 20 times more protein per acre than soybeans, they named it afood of the future. Spirulina is the best vegetable protein source, with a protein content of 65% higher than any other natural food. Yet, an even greater value is found in its concentration of vitamins, minerals and other unusual nutrients.

1) Protein and amino acids

Water is the source of life; protein is the next source of life after water. The building blocks of life are protein and amino acids. When comparing protein sources, several criteria should be considered:
a) Amino acid quality
b) Net protein utilization and usable protein
c) Protein digestibility
a) Amino acid quality

Protein is composed of amino acids. Essential amino acids cannot be manufactured in the body and must be supplied in the diet. Non-essential amino acids are needed too, but thebody can synthesize them. Essential amino acids, plus sufficient nitrogen in foods, are needed to synthesize the non-essential amino acids. A protein is considered complete if it has all the essential amino acids. Spirulina is just that, a complete protein.

The body requires amino acids in specific proportions. If a food is low in one or more amino acids, those amino acids are called limiting amino acids, and the body cannot use all the amino acids completely. The most ideal proportion of amino acids is found in eggs. All other foods have some limiting amino acids.

Limiting amino acids in spirulina are methionine and cystine, but it is still higher in these amino acids than grains, seeds, vegetables and legumes, and higher in lysine than all vegetables except legumes. Spirulina complements vegetable protein and increases the amino acid quality if eaten within several hours of other foods. Over 100% of the daily essential amino acid requirements for a typical adult male are supplied by using only 36 grams of spirulina, about 4 heaping tablespoons.

b)  Net protein utilization and usable protein

In other words, the bio-avaibility of protein is very crucial. Bio-avaibility represents the percentage or scale rating of just how much our bodies can make use of certain protein sources. You need to know that our bodies and digestive systems absorb some protein better than others and also certain sources will provide a higher amino acid profile.

Feeding tests rank proteins by Net Protein Utilization (NPU) value, determined by amino acid quality, digestibility (proportion absorbed by the intestines) and biological value (proportion relatined by the body). Dried eggs (94) have the highest value, followed by milk (70-82), fish (80) and meat (67). Spirulina (62) is similar to grains and has a higher NPU than nuts (2.5).

By multiplying protein quantity by the NPU, we determine the usable protein as a percentage of the food's composition. Spirulina is second only to dried eggs, and higher than any of the common foods in the form in which they are usually purchased.

c) Protein digestibility

Spirulina has no cellulose in its cell walls, being composed of soft mucopolysaccharides. This makes it easily digested and assimilated. It is 85-95% digestible. This easy digestibility is especially important for people suffering from intestinal malabsorption. Typically, many older people have difficulty digesting complex proteins, and are on restricted diets. They find spirulina's protein is very easy to digest.

Spirulina is effective for victims of malnutrition diseases like kwashiorkor, where the ability of intestinal absorption has been damaged. Given to malnourished children, it is more effective than milk powders because milk's lactic acid can be difficult to absorb.

2) Vitamins - protectors of health

A 10 gram spirulina serving (20 tablets, or 1/3 ounce) supplies a rich profile of vitamins we need.

a) Natural beta carotene (provitamin A)

Spirulina is the richest food in beta carotene, 10 times more concentrated than carrots. 10 grams provide a remarkable 23,000 IU (14mg) of beta carotene, 460% of the U.S Daily Value (DV) of Vitamin A. High doses of Vitamin A may be toxic, but beta carotene in spirulina and vegetables are safe, because human bodies convert beta carotene to Vitamin A  ONLY WHEN NEEDED.

Vitamin A is important in maintaining mucous membranes and pigments necessary for vision. Vitamin A deficiency is one of the most serious malnutrition diseases in the developing world, leading to blindness.

Beta carotene has therapeutic effects, including reducing serum cholesterol and ever present cancer risks. Over the past 12 years, cancer health authorities have published dozens of studies showing beta carotene reduces the risks of all kinds of cancers, including lung, throat, stomach, colon, gastrointestinal tract, breast and cervix.

Although beta carotene is best known, spirulina contains an antioxidant rich complex of at least10 carotenoids. These mixed carotenes and xanthophylls function at different sites in the body and minerals and phytonutrients in spirulina. This is more effective than an isolated, synthetic beta carotene supplement

b) Vitamin B complex

Spirulina is the richest source of B-12, higher than beef liver, chlorella or sea vegetables. B-12 is necessary for development of red blood cells, especially in the bone marrow and nervous system. Primary B-12 deficiencies, anemia and nerve degeneration, are getting more common in modern societies, because B-12 is the most difficult vitamin to get from plant sources, vegetarians have taken to spirulina.

3 B vitamins—B6, B12, and folic acid—help prevent heart disease. The newest independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease is excess levels of homocysteinenot cholesterol. Contrary to popular belief, cholesterol does not cause heart disease. It is merely one of the many markers of the disease. In fact, it's quite possible to have a heart attack even if you have "normal" cholesterol levels.
Scientists have discovered that vitamins B6, B9 and B12 can dramatically lower homocysteine levels and reduce cardiovascular disease.

Methylation Cycle: With B6, 9 and 12 supply, Homocysteine will be converted to other beneficial elements in the body
Homocysteine is converted to Glutathione and MTHFR enzyme
But according to research, there's a definite possibility you'll have a heart attack if you have high levels of homocysteine. What is it? Homocysteine is an amino acid derivative that's naturally found in your body. Too much of it can generate free radicals that increase injury to arterial wallsaccelerate oxidation and the buildup of cholesterol in blood vessels, and set the stage for arterial and venous diseases, including stroke.12

One tablespoon provides significant quantities of:
B1 (Thiamin): 23% DV required for nerve tissues
B2 (Riboflavin): 23% DV needed to gain energy from carbohydrates and proteins
B3 (Niacin): 7% DV needed for healthy tissue cells.

Other B vitamins, B6, biotin, panthothenic acid, folic acid, inositol and Vitamin E are also present in smaller amounts.

3) Naturally colloidal minerals

Algae absorbs many trace elements while growing and these minerals are well assimilated by the human body. Its mineral content varies depending on where it is grown and the minerals in the water.

Iron is the most common mineral deficiency worldwide, especially for women, children and older people. Women on weight loss diets typically do not get enough iron, and can becomeanemic. Iron is essential for strong red blood cells and healthy immune system. Spirulina is a rich iron food, 10 times higher than common iron foods. 10 grams supply up to 10mg of iron, 55% of the Recommended Daily Value.

The chlorophyll density of this micro-algae is excellent at cleansing the liver, nervous system and blood of unwanted toxins.
The presents of the two amino acids cysteine and methionine help in this process of purification.

The chlorophyll in spirulina is incredibly similar to the hemoglobin in the body. It is excellent for anemia and helps to build the blood.

The presence of the blue polypeptide, phycocyanin provides the blood with a richer supply of oxygen, helping it to cleanse more efficiently. It also forms soluble complexes with iron and other minerals during digestion making iron more bio-available. Hence, iron in spirulina is over twice as absorbable as the form of iron found in vegetables and most meats.

4) Essential Fatty Acids

Human require a dietary source of essential fatty acids (EFA). They promote cholesterol normalization and are precursors for hormones, called prostaglandins. Spirulina has 4-7% lipids, or fats, and most of these are EFAs. 10 grams have 225mg of EFA in the form of linoleic (Omega-6) and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). The DV for an adult is a minimum EFA intake of 1% of total calories. 10 grams provide 8-14% DV, depending on sex and age group.

GLA is the precuror to the body's prostaglandins - master hormones that control many functions. Dietary saturated fats and alcohol can cause in GLA deficiency and suppressed prostaglandin formation. Studies show GLA deficiency figures in many diseases and many health problems, so a food source of GLA can be important.

The only other known sources of dietary GLA are mother's ilk and oil extracts of evening primrose, black currant and borage seeds. Spirulina is a concentrated source of GLA, and a 10 gram serving has 135mg.

5) Phytonutrients

Pigments help synthesize many enzymes necessary for regulating the body's metabolism. Spirulina's very dark color comes from the natural pigments which harvest different wave lenghs of sunlight.

a) Phycocyanin
It is the most important pigment in Spirulina, this protein complex is about 14% of the entire weight. A Japanese patent states a small dosage of phycocyanin daily maintains or accelerates normal control cell functions that prevents generation of malignancy such as cancer or inhibits its growth or recurrence.

Chinese scientists documented phycocyanin stimulates hematopoesis (creation of blood), emulating the hormone erythropoetin (EPO). EPO is produced by healthy kidneys and regulates bone marrow stem cell production of red blood cells. Their research showed that phycocyanin regulates white blood cell production, even when the bone marrow stem cells are damaged by toxic chemicals or radiation.

b) Chlorophyll

The common feature of green foods is their high chlorophyll content. Chlorophyll is known as a cleansing and detoxifying phytonnutrient. Sometimes called 'green blood' because it looks like the hemoglobin molecule in human blood. Chlorophyll has a magnesium at its core, giving it a green color, and hemoglobin has iron, giving it a red color. Spirulina's beneficial effect on anemia could be bio-available iron.

c) Carotenoids

About half of these yellow/orange pigments in spirulina are carotenes: Alpha, Beta and Gamma. About half are xanthophylls: Myxoxanthophyll, Zeaxanthin, Cryptoxanthin, Echinenone, Fucoxanthin, Violaxanthin and Astaxanthin. Total mixed carotenoids make up 0.37% of spirulina. Although beta carotene is the best known, this mixed carotenoid complex functions at different sites in the body and works synergistically to enhance antioxidant protection.

d) Polysaccharides

Spirulina contains only 15-25% carbohydrate and sugar. The primary forms of carbohydrates are rhamnose and glycogen, two polysaccharides which are easily absorbed by the body with minimum insulin intervention. Spirulina offers quick energy, without taxing the pancreas or precipitating hypoglycemia.

The polysaccharides structure in spirulina is somewhat different from the ones found in Ganocelium (GL). However, working together with Ganocelium, the polysaccharides chain complement each other to form a very strong barrier on cell membranes, especially preventing from viral penetration to the cell that causes infections.

e) Enzymes

Enzymes are catalysts for chemical changes. There are thousands of enzymes, each catalyzing specific reactions. Dried spirulina contains a number of enzymes. One is Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), important in quenching free radicals in retarding aging.

The summarized health benefits of Spirulina:

YOU CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH FROM WHAT YOU EAT

Malnutrition is a failure to get a sufficient and balanced supply of nutrients

We may look like this:                                                     But our cells are like this:

In affluent modern societies, we nearly all suffer a degree of malnutrition due to inadequacy in our diet. Nourishment is the key to health, growth and success. You need nutrients forenergy, and to maintain healthy tissue and organ functionreplacement and growth. Lifestyle malnutrition is a major cause of poor health in affluent modern societies. We nearly all suffer a degree of malnutrition due to inadequacy in our diet. This has serious consequences for our long-term health.

The standard western diet does not contain enough nutritious foods. We rely too heavily on fast foods and processed and packaged foods, all of which have suffered a loss of nutrients in their manufacture. The most nutrient-rich foods are fresh fruit and vegetables. Most of us don't eat anywhere near enough of these! Sadly, even our 'fresh' produce loses many nutrients due to soil depletiontime taken in transportation storage, and preparation and cooking losses. Furthermore, farming and processing methods fill our food with 'foreign' chemicals which are toxic to our bodies. It's little wonder we're suffering from an epidemic of lifestyle malnutrition - the malnutrition of affluence.

It is not only what we eat that is crucial to our health. How our body digestabsorb andassimilate the nutrients in our body is also critical. Our unique personal needs for nutrients can be important since our bodies are all different, especially at certain times of our lives (e.g. during pregnancy, illness, unusual physical exertion or older age). Following are the 7 major causes of lifestyle malnutrition.
  1. Poor food Choices
  2. Depleted Soils
  3. Transport and Storage Loss
  4. Cooking Loss
  5. Poor Digestion
  6. Bad Food Combination
  7. Allergic Reactions
  8. Poor Absorption
  9. Unique Personal Need
